Lot 273. 20 Steelers Autographs – Ham, Butler, Johnson, Bleier, Hoak, White and Stuvaints. All but three of the autographs are on 8” x 10” color photos. Jack Ham autographed an action photo and added “HOF 88.” Jack Butler was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. A three-time All Pro at cornerback, he was named to four straight Pro Bowls from 1956 to 1959. When he retired in 1959 with 52 interceptions, only Hall of Famer Emlen Tunnell ranked ahead of him. Butler died in 2013. John Henry’s Johnson’s signature is on a 5” x 7” Hall of Fame card; Johnson was admitted to Canton in 1987. When he retired, he was fourth on the NFL’s all-time rushing list. He died in 2011. A seat cushion commemorating the presence of Three Rivers Stadium from 1970-2000 hosts a Dwight Wight nm-m 8 signature. The cushion is 13” x 13”. Part of Pittsburgh’s Steel Curtain defensive line, White made the Pro Bowl twice and helped the team to capture four Super Bowl titles. He died in 2008. Rocky Bleier signed his business card. Dick Hoak autographed five photos that have multiple images of him. A running back for the Steelers from 1961-70, he won five Super Bowls with the team as a coach. Russell Stuvaints, who grew up near Pittsburgh, was part of Pittsburgh Super Bowl XL team as a safety and special teams player. His autograph is on 10 photos. Butler’s autograph is nm 7 to nm-m 8. The others are at least nm-m 8. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Winning Bid $92.
