Lot 151. Cleveland Browns’ Program for Their First Home NFL Victory – Oct. 15, 1950. After four consecutive championships in the All-America Football Conference, the Browns joined the NFL in 1950 and won their first two games on the road. In their home debut on Oct 1, they lost to the New York Giants, 6-0. A victorious trip to Pittsburgh followed, and then the Browns returned to Cleveland Stadium for a 34-24 win over the Chicago Cardinals on Oct. 15. Later in the season, the Browns claimed the American Conference Championship and then defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL Championship contest. The 44-page program has a Browns team photo inside the back cover. On the pages, Browns are liberally pictured, and some Cardinals are shown as well.
