Lot 66. Fred Lynn Hillerich & Bradsby D113 Pro Model Bat from Tommy John’s Collection. John received this 34” 1977-79 bat directly from Lynn during 1978-83. It has two mounting holes on the back that could easily be repaired. Lynn launched his major league career by capturing 1975 Rookie of the Year and MVP honors with the Boston Red Sox. He was an All-Star in each of his first nine full seasons. When he retired, he had achieved a .283 career batting average, driven in 1,116 runs and earned three Gold Gloves. He is in the Red Sox and College Baseball Halls of Fame. The bat comes with a Letter of Provenance signed by John. MB $60. Winning Bid $60.
