Lot 10. Tom Henrich Game-Used 1950 Hillerich & Bradsby Bat Graded GU 8 by PSA/DNA. From Tommy John’s collection, this 36-ounce, 36” model D29 uncracked bat shows excellent use, including ball marks and stitch impressions on the right, left and back barrel; cleat impressions on the left barrel, and scoring on the handle. The model number is impressed into the knob. John obtained the bat directly from Henrich during 1978-83. A Letter of Provenance from John accompanies the bat. In 11 seasons, all with the Yankees, Henrich was a five-time All-Star and a .282 career batter. He lost three seasons to World War II. A star of the 1947 World Series, he played on four World Champion teams. Winning Bid $1,821.
