PSA/DNA-Authenticated Frank Robinson Game-Used Bat from Tommy John’s Collection.




      
Lot 70. PSA/DNA-Authenticated Frank Robinson Game-Used Bat from Tommy John’s Collection. The Hillerich & Bradsby 1972 R182 ash bat shows a few ball marks and ball stitch impressions on the left barrel. It measures 35”, weighs 35.3 ounces, is uncracked and has a flame burned finish. Robinson’s uniform number, 36, is on the top of the barrel is sharpie. The knob has been lightly sanded, and three mounting holes are visible on the back, one on the handle, and two on barrel. They could easily be repaired. A Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA describes the bat as showing “evidence of game ready to light use.” Given personally by Robinson to John in 1972 when they played for the Dodgers, the bat also comes with an LoA from John. Winning Bid $646.
