Lot 107. 9 Autographed Photos and 2 Photo T-Shirts Featuring Tommy John as a Yankee. Two signed items may be unique. They are size XXL Fotowear limited-edition T-shirts, each with a different photo of John on the front. Each has a secretarial and actual Tommy John autograph. Seven photos are laminated on wood plaques that range from 10.5” x 12.5” to 11.25” x 15.25”. One 8” x 10” color photo shows John pitching at Yankee stadium, and another has him posed at spring training. He signed team photos for 1979 (plaque) and 1986 and an 8” x 10 b&w portrait that is framed without glass to 11.75” x 13.25”. The other plaque items signed by John are the cover of the Oct. 1980 issues of “Baseball Magazine”; a newspaper article that shows him with his family; a 1978 Yankees’ holiday card (John was signed as a free agent by the Yankees on Nov. 21, 1978), and a “Win with Safety” poster.
