The Hall of Fame linebacker autographed the cover of his softcover “Inside Defensive Football,” 1972, vg-ex. The autograph is nm-m 8, large and bold with a scuff just below it where a price sticker was removed. The other HoF signers are: Jerry Rice, “Go Long!” by Rice and Brian Curtis, 2007 stated first edition, nm-m book and dust jacket, mint 9 autograph by Rice on the title page. Tony Dorsett, “Running Tough,” 1989 stated first edition, nm-m/ex, mint 9 autograph on the title page. And Gayle Sayers, “Sayers: My Life and Times,” 2007, nm-m/ex-m, gem mint 10 title page signature. Doug Williams, the first African American quarterback to play in the Super Bowl, signed the title page of his autobiography, “QuarterBLACK,” Shattering the NFL Myth,” 1990 apparent first edition, ex/vg, gem mint 10 title page signature with “SB XXII M.V.P.” added.
