Lot 305.  19 1910 T27 Fez/Tolstoi “Military Series” Cards. Eighteen different cards from a set of 100. All six of the cards representing Germany are present, and the lone duplicate is in the German group. One military figure is from the U.S., two from Austria, one from France, five from Great Britain, two from Prussia and one from Russia. Seventeen backs promote Fez cigarettes, and two, Tolstoi. The cards grade Vg-ex: 10 cards. Vg: 4. G-vg: 1. F-g: 2. P-f: 1. P: 1.

Lot 306.  1924 Ogden’s “Leaders of Men” Set of 50 with Washington, Lincoln and Edison. Other noteworthy members of the set include Alexander the Great, Confucius, Charlemagne, Darwin, Joan of Arc, Shakespeare and Plato. The cards feature full color portraits on the front and biographical information on the back. Vg to vg-ex.

Lot 307.  26 Cards - 21 Different - from the 1936 R131-1 “American G-Men” Cards from a Set of 48. These cards are from the horizontal set, which has cards numbered from 101-148. The group comprises #104, 111, 112 (2), 114, 117-123, 124 (2), 135, and 141, 142, 143 (2), 144 (2) and 145-148. The cards grade Ex-m: 3 cards. Ex+: 5. Ex: 4. Vg-ex: 3. G-vg: 1. G: 2. F-g: 1. F: 5. The cards are #705, 706, 714, 728-730, 733, 735, 737, 739 and 743. Duplicates of #730 and 733 bring the total number of cards to 13. The cards grade Vg-ex: 1 card. Vg: 1. F-g: 1. F: 9. P: 1.

Lot 309.  20 Different 1936 J. Wix & Sons Cards Featuring Carl Anderson’s “Henry.” These unnumbered color cards measure approximately 2 9/16” x 3 1/16”. They are untitled, except for “Henry” on the front of each. The backs promote Kensitas cigarettes and mention the album to hold “Henry’s Adventures,” but not the price. All cards are different. They grade Nm+: 2 cards. Nm: 1. Ex-m+: 1. Ex-m: 6. Ex+: 4. Ex: 2. Vg-ex: 3. Vg: 1.

Lot 310.  Circa 1950 Bread Labels – 39 Hopalong Cassidy and 42 “Famous Events in History.” This collection consists of 16 labels (14 different from a set of 32) from Bond Bread’s Hopalong Cassidy unnumbered series; 23 (20 different from a set of 48) from Bond’s “Hopalong Cassidy’s Favorite” series; and 42 (31 different from a set of 61) from Life or Guest Bread’s “Famous Events in History – Series 2.” Six of the Hoppy labels are glued into a scrapbook; the others are taped in. All of the “Famous Events” labels are glued in, and some are partially loose. These labels have a p to vg appearance and average f-g. A total of 81 labels. The “Famous Events” labels are somewhat scarce.

Lot 311.  8 Non-Sport Sets – 1994 Ultra “X-Men” and 7 2014 “Sons of Anarchy” Sets. The “X-Men” set consists of 150 cards issued under Fleer’s Ultra brand. Cryptozoic produced the 100 cards in the “Sons of Anarchy” base set for Seasons 1-3. These cards are nm-m. Both sets have color images on the card fronts and backs.
