Lot 204.  7 Topps Wax Boxes, 1986-92, Topps Stickers, 1988 Big Baseball and More. Each of the boxes from 1986-91 contains 36 wax packs. Four packs have been removed from the 1992 box, bringing the count to 32 packs. The 1986 issue has numerous rookie and star cards. Rookies of Barry Larkin and Rafael Palmeiro and the first regular-set Barry Bonds card from Topps are possibilities among the 1987 cards. The 1988 box has possible rookies of Roberto Alomar and Tom Glavine; 1989, Craig Biggio, John Smoltz and Randy Johnson; 1990, Frank Thomas and Sammy Sosa, and 1991. Accompanying these issues are three boxes of 1988 Topps Big Baseball, one for each of three series; one box each of 1989 and 1990 Baseball Yearbook Stickers; a box of 16 Baseball Sticker Yearbooks for 1986; and a partial box of 1984 Photo Rub-Downs, 25 unopened packs in a box that originally had 36. The 1988 and 1991 wax boxes are in what appear to be their original cellophane or plastic wraps, and so is the 1990 box of stickers. It appears to us that the packs have never been tampered with. Most of the boxes seem as though the packs have never been removed. Because we did not see them come out of an unopened case, however, and we are selling them as is.
