Lot 65. Dave Kingman 1976 Hillerich & Bradsby M110 Game-Used Bat. During the 1970s and 1980s, “King Kong” was one of baseball’s most feared sluggers. He hit more than 30 home runs in four seasons, including 48 in 1979. This uncracked 35.5” bat, which has Kingman’s number inside the concave barrel end, exhibits both ball and cleat marks. On the back, two mounting holes could easily be repaired. The bat comes with a Letter of Provenance from John, who obtained it directly from Kingman during 1978-83.
