Lot 221. OAL Bobby Brown Baseballs Single-Signed by Bob Feller, Bob Lemon and Early Wynn. These three players gave the Cleveland Indians one of baseball’s most formidable pitching staffs in the late 1940s to mid-1950s. From 1949-56, they combined for 404 victories. For their careers, they recorded 773 victories. The total almost certainly would have been higher if Feller (266 wins) had not lost three full seasons at the peak of his career to World War II. Each player signed the sweet spot. The Feller autograph is extremely strong, mint 9 to gem mint 10 with a very slight smudge at the top of the “F.” The ball is nm-m. The Lemon and Wynn signatures are mint 9, both on nm to nm-m baseballs. All three pitchers are in the Hall of Fame. Wynn passed away in 1999, and Lemon, in 2000. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
