Graded Baseball Cards   16 Lots       »

Lot 8.  PSA-Graded 1910 E90-2 American Caramel Pirates Card of Babe Adams. PSA has graded this card of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ star pitcher PR-FR 1. A pin hole dictates the grade. Otherwise, the card has a vg appearance with bold colors and no obvious creases away from the corners.
Winning Bid $61.

Lot 9.  PSA-Graded 1910-11 E90-1 American Caramel Cards of Bliss and Criger. The John Bliss and Lou Criger cards are each graded 20 FAIR 1.5 by PSA. The Bliss card has a vg front and stains and minor paper loss on the back.
Winning Bid $75.

Lot 10.  1911 Zeenut Pacific Coast League Card of Kerns Graded 20 FAIR 1.5 by SGC. This card has a much better appearance than the grade suggests. The front is ex.; the blank back has an area of paper loss and a stain. Kerns played for Sacramento.
Winning Bid $40.

Lot 11.  1911 Zeenut Pacific Coast League Card of Mahoney Graded 50 VG-EX 50 by SGC. Mahoney played for Sacramento.
Winning Bid $55.

Lot 12.  1913 T200 Fatima Cigarettes Philadelphia Americans Card Graded SGC Authentic. The card appears to be untrimmed with a spot of glue reinforcing a small tear on the back. There also are some relatively minor stains on the back. Technically, the front is f-g, a grade that doesn’t seem to do justice to this well contrasted, sharply focused photo and card.
Winning Bid $90.

Lot 13.  1916 Famous and Barr #5 Leon Ames Graded 30 GOOD 2 by SGC. Good-looking card has a vg appearance. These cards share a checklist with the M101-5 blank backs.
Winning Bid $45.

Lot 14.  1916 D329 Weil Baking Co. #98 Jack Lapp Graded 50 VG-EX 4 by SGC. Nice example of the New Orleans bakery issue.
Winning Bid $68.

Lot 15.  1953 Bowman Color #10 Richie Ashburn PSA Graded EX-MT 6. Well-centered strong, colorful card.
Winning Bid $68.

Lot 16.  1959 Topps #163 Sandy Koufax Graded 80 EX-NM 6 by SGC. Nicely centered clean card of the Hall of Fame Dodger.
Winning Bid $83.

Lot 17.  2 1960 Topps Cards SGC-Graded 96 Mint 9 - #115 and #174 Indians Team. These two cards approach SGC perfection. Roy Face and Hoyt Wilhelm share the #115 card as “Fork & Knuckler.” TOGETHER, THESE TWO CARDS HAVE AN SMR GUIDE VALUE OF MORE THAN $250!
Winning Bid $75.

Lot 18.  1960 Topps #136 Kaat Rookie and #173 Martin SGC-Graded 88 NM-MT 8. Great pair of cards.
Winning Bid $65.

Lot 19.  Hank Aaron 1966 Topps #500 Graded 86 NM+ 7.5 by SGC. Beautiful card, nicely centered with very light touches on the bottom corners.
Winning Bid $83.

Lot 20.  1966 Topps #598 Gaylord Perry Single Print SGC-Graded 80 EX-NM 6. Very nice example of the last card in the set with 70:30 left-to-right centering, strong corners and some tiny white marks on the surface resulting from the printing process.
Winning Bid $50.

Lot 21.  Rod Carew Rookie, 1967 Topps #569 Graded 80 EX-NM 6 by SGC. Seems outstanding for the grade.
Winning Bid $107.

Lot 22.  1967 Topps #609 Tommy John SGC-Graded 80 EX-NM 6. Centering just slightly better than 80:20 left-to-right keeps this final card in the set from grading higher. Strong corners.
Winning Bid $45.
