Lot 97. Rare Signature of Golfer Jimmy Thomson. He was the John Daly of the 1930s. Everywhere he played, fans flocked to see his booming tee shots. He won numerous driving contests, including 380 yards at the 18th at Colorado Springs on eight occasions. During the 1929 U.S. Open at Muirfield, he drove the 375-yard 11th hole. Rare bold pencil signature, a 9-10, on the back of a WWII fundraising tournament ticket. Thomson died in 1985. He has an outside shot (pun-intended) for the HoF. Get him now!
