Ten each have a pin hole at the top: #3 Holman g-vg and 5 Wachter p-f (both basketball), 15 McNamara (bicycling) g-vg, 17 Dempsey p-f, 21 Weissmuller f-g, 27 Turner (aviation) p-f, 29 Bailey (hockey) f-g, 31 Walthour (cycling) p-f, 39 Westrope (jockey) p-f and 45 Didrickson f. Two have a chip at the top that grew from a pin hole: #22 Sarazen p-f and 24 Morenz p-f. The grades indicate the appearance of the card absent the pin hole or chip.
