Lot 97. 2 1953 Checks Signed by Bill Dickey. Early checks, both signed on July 20 by the New York Yankees Hall of Fame catcher. Both signatures are bold. One is slightly affected by cancellation punches. The other has smudges on “W” and “ck.” On the second check, Dickey listed “Yankee Stadium N.Y.C.” as the address.
