Lot 169. Kent Desormeaux Signed Photo with 2008 Derby, Preakness Winner Big Brown. Awesome 8”x10” action color photo taken at the 2008 Kentucky Derby and boldly signed by Desormeaux, his jockey. A member of the National Museum and Racing Hall of Fame, Desormeaux is one of the most successful jockeys in the history of racing. In 1989, he set a record for most wins in a season – 1989. In 2008, Desormeaux guided Big Brown to big victories in the Derby and the Preakness. The horse faltered, however, in the Belmont Stakes, which Desormeaux won this year with Summer Bird.
