Lot 125. 12 Vintage Motorcycle Cards, 2 Modern Sets Featuring Vintage Bikes. The vintage cards are from three sets: 1929 Pattreiouex “Dirt Track Riders,” eight different, color fronts show riders on their cycles; descriptive backs. Riders are Chadwick ex+, Datson ex-m, Dallison vg-ex, Firth ex-m+, Bob Harrison vg-ex, Hazard vg-ex, Skinner vg-ex and Taft ex-m+. These cards “book” for $7 each. 1929 Ogden’s “Famous Dirt-Track Riders,” Sieffert vg-ex. 1930 Godfrey Phillips “Speed Champions,” four different, sepia fronts, backs describing various racing techniques. One nm, two ex-m+, one ex+. The sets, each with 24 cards, are from the Vintage Motor Cycle Club and Newmarket Hardware, “Some of Britain’s Finest Bikes.” These sets are about 3” x 2 ½” with color fronts and short descriptions on the back. Nm to nm-m.

Lot 126. 1939 Player & Son “Cycling” Set of 50 Cards. In photos and illustrations, these color cards trace the development of the bicycle from the early 1800s. They show hobby-horses, velocipedes, tricycles and bicycles. Adhesive backs. Ex-m to nm.
