Lot 1.  1969 Topps Partial Set of 423 Including Stars, High Numbers. Among the star cards are 75 Aparicio ex, 82 Oliver rookie ex+, 160 Pinson ex+, 164 World Series ex, 311 Lyle rookie ex-m, 349 Dick Williams g-vg, 350 Allen ex, 355 Phil Niekro vg-ex, 412 Checklist with Mantle checked otherwise vg-ex, 426 Flood A.S. g-vg, 447 Houk (yellow name) vg, 527 Lopez ex+, 589 Pepitone ex-m+, and 650 Ted Williams vg-ex. The breakdown of the cards is #1-99 (65 cards), 100-199 (68), 200-299 (80), 300-399 (89), 400-499 (58), 500-588 (21) and 589-664 (42). Approximately 85% of the cards not graded above are ex or better. The remaining 15% are vg-ex or less.

Lot 2.  Original Envelope for 1907 Dietsche Detroit Tigers Postcards (PC765-1). The Dietsche cards featuring Cobb and his teammates were sold in sets of 15 for 25 cents. This envelope, which could be used for distributing the cards, promotes “Hughie Jennings and his Great 1907 Tigers.” The envelope is clean, with some wear at the corners, a tiny stain along the top border, light soiling in the lower right and some very small, light creases. Attractive and uncommon.

Lot 3.  1913 M113 Joe Bush Baseball Magazine Premium, Mid-Week Pictorial Photos. The 10” x 17 ¼” premium of “Bullet Joe” is adhered to cardboard. It has edge tears and chips. The image area displays nicely, and most of the border is clean. One Mid-Week Pictorial captures the first home run, by Aaron Ward, of the 1921 season, and the other, photos of Eddie Collins, Schalk, Burns, Covaleskie and Speaker. The first is matted, and the latter has edge chips and a vg-ex image area.

Lot 4.  3 1933 Gum Inc. PX3 Double Header Coins Including Chuck Klein. The Klein coin grades vg. The two others are Frank Hogan, vg+, and Lew Fonseca, g-vg.

Lot 5.  9 Cards from 1938-39 W711-1 and W711-2 Cincinnati Reds Team Issues. Six cards, designated W711-1, are from 1938, and three from 1939. The 1938 issues are Berger g, Davis g, Derringer f-g, Moore f-g, Riggs g and Schott vg. The cards from 1939 are Frey f, Joost g and Scarsella f.

Lot 6.  Empty Box for the 1950 Callahan Hall of Fame Baseball Card Set. This box will be an excellent complement to the Callahan set sold by the Baseball Hall of Fame. The box is intact with a very small stain on the front. One side flap is missing a small chip, and the flap is close to being detached. Otherwise, the box has several very small scuffs, is free of any offensive creases and displays very well.
