1961-62 Fleer Basketball Box and Wrapper.
Lot 248. 1961-62 Fleer Basketball Box and Wrapper. Fleer’s 1961-62 set was its first basketball issue, and it was the first set to contain some of the game’s biggest stars, notably Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson and Elgin Baylor. The box, which measures 7 7/8” x 3 7/8” x 1 7/8”, is complete with the lid fully attached. It features bold, brilliant colors and displays extremely well with a ½” tear above the die-cut and a crease in the upper left. The artwork on the wrapper complements the box art. The wrapper is bright and clean with the usual folds.
