Lot 443. Program from the Dedication of the Honus Wagner Statue, April 30, 1955. The 6” x 9” program, which pictures the statue, is vg-ex with a deep-yellow cover. Inside, the list of honored guests includes Connie Mack, Branch Rickey, Max Carey, Fred Clarke, George Sisler, Pie Traynor and Cy Young. Although frail, Wagner was able to attend the dedication. He passed away seven months later. The statue has been moved from its original location in Schenley Park to the main entrance of PNC Park.
