Lot 170. 1993 ALCS-Used Blue Shoes Signed by Ricky Henderson. Through the 1980s and 1990s, Henderson’s high on-base percentage, runs scored and stolen base totals made him baseball’s premier leadoff hitter - maybe the best ever. He will become eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2009 - provided he does not return to major league play. These bright blue Mizuno shoes show excellent game use. Both still have dirt around the cleats. The right shoe has some scraping on the back heel. The front cleat is missing on the left shoe. Henderson signed both shoes in silver sharpie and added “A.L.C.S.” The signatures are mint 9s. Henderson played for Toronto in the 1993 ALCS.
