Lot 169. Jackie Robinson Signature Authenticated by Global, Helen Sanders, Kevin Keating. Robinson’s bold, gem mint 10 autograph in blue ballpoint is on the back of a Hall of Fame Yellow Plaque postcard. Robinson wrote “Best wishes” above. Outstanding for framing, this signature was once in the collection of the late George Sanders, the noted collector and autograph authority. In fact, this autograph appears in Sanders’ 1999 book, The Sanders Price Guide to Sports Autographs. With the autograph is an 8” x 10” b&w photo of Sanders and Robinson. The autograph comes with a CoA from Sanders’ wife, Helen Doolittle Sanders, and an LoA and a CoA from Global. Kevin Keating also authenticated the autograph. Great example with multiple authentication.
