Lot 272. 2 1920s Exhibit Supply Co. Cards of Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini. Elected premier or prime minister of Italy in 1922, Mussolini ruled the country until 1943, when he was deposed by his Fascist Party’s Grand Council on Fascism. Italian partisans captured and executed him in 1945. One sepia card shows him in a posed portrait, and the other, as he “salutes members of the Fascisti.” The cards grade vg.
