Eight ¾” pins from the early 1950s have the logos of the Philadelphia Athletics, Cardinals, Cubs, Indians, Nationals, Fightin’ Phillies, Pirates, Reds and White Sox. Four others have baseballs in the background: I Am a Yankee Fan, I Am a Giant Fan, Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Browns. Also: 8 Different 1964 Guy’s Potato Chips Team Logo Pins. Lot 140. 6 Uncommon 3 3/8” Mid-1950s Baseball Team Logo Pins. These large pins represent the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Redlegs, Kansas City Athletics, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals. Most are shown in Paul Muchinsky’s Baseball Pinback Buttons. All of the pins are vg-ex, showing some aging on the back and light surface wear. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research, a non-profit membership organization open to all that fosters the research, preservation, and dissemination of the history and record of baseball.
