Lot 196. 1938 Pattreiouex “British Railways” Set of 48 Real-Photo Cards. Featuring black & white photos, these 2” x 3” cards have descriptive backs that promote Senior Service Cigarettes. This is a tremendous set for railroad collectors. Approximately one-half of the cards picture locomotive engines, including the “Queen of Scots,” “Silver Link” class engines, one of which had recently set a speed record of 125 miles per hour, and the “Bournemouth Belle.” Other cards show engine construction, coal handling, track repair, etc. Ex-m-m to nm.

Lot 198. 1970s Railroad Memorabilia. Includes an April 1978 dinner menu (11” x 14” unfolded, vg-ex, great graphics) and October 1978 breakfast menu (5 ½” x 8”, ex) from the Southern Crescent. Also, a 1972 reprint of an 1891 brochure for the Richmond & Danville Railroad’s Washington & Southwestern Vestibuled Limited, ex-m.

Lot 199. 7 Early 1900s Shets of Sales Stationery from the Pittsburgh Brewing Co. Makers of Iron City Beer, Pittsburgh Brewing had breweries throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania in the early 1900s. They are listed on the 8 ½” x 9 ¼” stationery, which was used for recording sales, apparently from 1900 through 1909. One sheet is f, and the others are ex and better. Pittsburgh Brewing continues, but the local breweries are gone.
